Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under supervision of the store owner/manager, this position is responsible for informing customers about and assisting them with all store services, transactions and products by phone, e-mail and in person. Operates the Point-of-Sales system, copiers, passport photo machine, postal meter, other store equipment, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment preferred Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers (public) Ability to translate customer requirements into final products or services Sales capabilities Multitasking - must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Outstanding time management and organizational skills Valid driver's license required High school diploma or currently enrolled in a high school program required Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems May be required to obtain Notary Public certification for the State of Virginia
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- ) Assists customers with their product and service needs in person, through e-mail and by phone (
- ) Processes all customer sales through the point-of-sale system (
- ) Provides services including copying, laminating, faxing, packing, shipping, passport photos, merchandise orders, mail box rentals and other products and services as the company provides (
- ) (50%) Store Operations Maintains the store consistent with established standards, including cleaning, merchandising, signage, apparel, quality service, etc. (
- ) Interacts with UPS, FedEx and USPS couriers, other vendors and all store staff (
- ) Sorts and deposits mail in rented mailboxes daily (
- ) Assists in maintaining and stocking inventory, and stocking store supplies (
- )
PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for extended periods of time (
- ) • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds (•) • Must be able to speak and communicate clearly with customers by phone, e-mail and in person (•) • Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner (•)
