Job Description

Bouchard-Pierce is looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Appliance Service Coordinator to join our fast-paced appliance service department. This position plays an important role in coordinating our service technicians, assisting customers, processing warranty claims, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers—even when handling difficult or challenging situations. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the daily schedules and routes of service technicians to maximize time at job sites while minimizing travel and downtime. Schedule customer service calls and assist customers with service-related questions and concerns. Communicate with customers regarding service appointments, repairs, parts, and other service issues in person and over the phone. Assist walk-in customers with service needs. Process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner. Enter and process customer orders using the company computer system. Research appliance parts through vendor websites and identify the correct parts needed for repairs. Order, receive, and organize appliance parts. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional service department and office area. Provide administrative and operational support to the appliance service department as needed. Attend required training sessions and meetings to maintain knowledge of products, systems, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the service department. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, retail, customer service, or similar role. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional and courteous phone etiquette. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers or service situations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist others. Ability to research and locate appliance parts online. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds . Previous appliance, parts, dispatching, or service industry experience is a plus, but not required.
