Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with integrity. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly. Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring products are well-presented in accordance with merchandising standards. Process retail sales efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while adhering to cash handling procedures. Support store operations through inventory management, including stock replenishment and product labeling. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or in person. Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized store environment that promotes a positive experience. Skills Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations for seamless transaction processing. Prior supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed. Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and change calculations. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor and effective communication abilities. Experience in grocery or retail store environments is preferred; familiarity with merchandising and stocking is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone professionally.
