Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (Part-Time) North Sound Veterinary Urgent Care Mill Creek, WA Job Details Part-time $17.13 - $19.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Uniform allowance Employee discount Qualifications Computer operation Phone communication Computer literacy Greeting customers Direct client contact Managing patient records Full Job Description North Sound Veterinary & Urgent Care is a small animal clinic in Mill Creek. We provide urgent care and light general practice, helping pets and their families when they need to be seen quickly. We're a small, close-knit team, and we're looking for a friendly and organized receptionist to be the first voice clients hear on the phone and the first face they see when they walk in. Schedule (all four shifts required) Monday, 10:00am to 8:00pm Wednesday, 10:00am to 8:00pm Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm Saturday, 11:00am to 7:00pm Each shift includes an unpaid one-hour lunch, which works out to about 32 hours a week. What you'll do Answer phones, schedule appointments, and pass medical questions to the medical team Greet clients and check in patients, including walk-ins Create and update client and patient records in ezyVet Present estimates, take payments, and check clients out at discharge Help keep the day on schedule Handle follow-up calls, medication refill requests, and recheck reminders Keep the lobby and front desk clean and organized What we're looking for Clear, warm communication on the phone and in person, especially with worried or upset pet owners Ability to stay calm and organized when the phones are ringing and the lobby is full Comfort using computers and learning new software Reliability and punctuality for every scheduled shift Veterinary or medical front desk experience is preferred but not required, and we will train the right person Experience with ezyVet is a plus Pay and benefits $17.13 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience Generous employee pet care discount FIGS scrubs provided Hands-on training in veterinary client service To apply Submit your resume through Indeed with a short note about why you'd like to work in veterinary medicine or customer service.
