JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary tasks of the Café Attendant are to prepare fresh grill items and wait on customers promptly in a friendly courteous manner. Able to efficiently perform the primary functions while attending to other small jobs. Performs all functions related to café sales and service including, but not limited to, setting up and taking down the serving line, preparing some fresh menu items, attending to customers, cashiering, accurately reconciling daily accounts following established protocols, creating visually appealing displays and maintaining a clean and inviting environment in the servery and dining room.EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Training in cooking, culinary arts or hospitality industry preferred.EXPERIENCE
Experience in the hospitality industry (wait staff, cashiering, food prep) preferred.LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
Have or able to obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Permit. ServSafe certification or Culinary Arts Training preferred.BENEFITS INFORMATION
