Job Description

Lynch Creek Farm is a family-owned online gift-giving company that sells beautiful handmade evergreen gifts, including fresh wreaths, centerpieces, garland, and other home décor items. Established back in 1980 on a small plot of land on Lynch Road in Shelton, we've grown and expanded over the years and now operate out of two large warehouses. Today, our high-quality products are shipped all over the country and recognized as the best in the industry. Our fast-paced seasonal company is filled with friendly, hard-working people who love our customers and believe in teamwork. Come join us! We are currently hiring for multiple Late-September to Mid-December seasonal positions, including the following seasonal positions for the holiday season in
Shelton:
Customer Support Agents
  • These team members assist our customers via phone, email, and other channels. They answer questions about our products, place orders, provide order and shipment information, and assist with any issues a customer or gift recipient may report. Corporate Gifting Agents
  • These team members are assigned specific clients to work with throughout the entire season, which requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. They support clients by answering questions about our Corporate Gifting program and products, assisting with the corporate order process, and providing additional support as needed. Order Logistics Specialists
  • These team members review, format, and upload large order spreadsheets into our order fulfillment systems. A great deal of attention to detail is required. Order Management Specialists
  • These members provide operational support by reviewing and processing orders, performing data entry, managing spreadsheet tasks, assisting with shipping floor operations as needed, and resolving basic computer and printer issues.
The following skills are needed for these positions: Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation while providing friendly, personalized responses to each customer's needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work with other team members to respond to a high volume of phone calls and emails. Ability to follow very specific instructions (with attention to detail and accuracy) when assisting our customers with procedures for orders, checking shipments, addressing product problems, and other customer service-related tasks. Dependability and a commitment to showing up on time and working your full shift through the season. It is essential that, once hired, you adhere to the agreed-upon schedule for the duration of the season. Strong desktop computer proficiency, including being comfortable using a computer with two monitors, utilizing a web browser with multiple tabs, and navigating several software systems at the same time. Experience with various web-based programs, such as Google Suite or similar programs, is also preferred. Paid training is provided, and you'll receive hands-on training before working independently. Please let us know if you have experience with client management, customer support, and/or working with spreadsheets. Although these skills are not required, they would be very helpful. Our hiring team will determine which position is best suited for you, and we will discuss your skills further during the interview process. If hired, we will provide extensive training in our processes and software systems to prepare you to assist our customers. At Lynch Creek Farm, we work closely as a team and firmly believe in supporting our staff to create a positive workplace. Every one of our team members is essential, and we all work together to provide our customers with high-quality, evergreen products (that we are so proud to make by hand!) and an overall experience that keeps them coming back year after year. These are fast-paced positions, and you will be expected to work through the entire season (End of September to mid-December). Our team members are crucial to making our season a success! While we depend on these teams to work hard to assist our customers, we will still find time to have a lot of fun, too. Please include your personal email address on your resume so we can contact you. If you are selected for an interview, we will contact you directly (please check your SPAM folders!). We expect to hold in-person interviews in September. Most positions will start September 28th or October 5th and end mid-December. Thank you. We look forward to meeting you!
