Job Description

About Cornerstone Cornerstone Consulting Services works alongside contractors to help reinforce the business behind the build. Our work may include customer communication, business systems, financial support, project coordination, risk management, leadership development, and other operational support. Because our team often works inside important parts of our clients' businesses, we take that responsibility seriously. We are looking for someone who communicates well, follows through, pays attention to details, and can be trusted to represent our clients professionally. About the Role Cornerstone is hiring a part-time Client Support Coordinator whose primary responsibility will be answering incoming customer calls for one of our contractor clients. You will often be the first person a homeowner speaks with when they call. Your role is to understand what they need, gather accurate information, answer questions within established guidelines, schedule next steps when appropriate, and make sure the right information gets to the right person. This role involves more than simply picking up the phone. You will learn our client's services and processes, work with customer and project information, assist with quote and estimate-related workflows, and use good judgment to recognize when something can be handled independently and when it needs to be escalated. When phone volume is lighter, you will support other administrative and client-service work. The phones remain the first priority during scheduled coverage hours.
Current Schedule Tuesday-Thursday:
4:00 PM-8:00
PM Friday:
10:00 AM-4:00 PM Approximately 18 hours per week . Additional hours and responsibilities may become available as Cornerstone adds client work, but applicants should be comfortable with the current part-time schedule as it stands. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Answer incoming customer calls professionally and consistently Ask questions to understand the customer's needs and gather complete information Schedule appointments and communicate next steps Answer common customer questions using established information and procedures Review customer, project, quote, and estimate information Assist with established quote and estimate workflows Document calls, customer information, and follow-up items accurately Follow up with customers when assigned Update customer records and internal tracking systems Send routine customer communications Complete administrative work during lower-volume phone periods Follow scripts, checklists, and client-specific procedures Recognize when an issue should be escalated rather than handled independently Protect confidential client and customer information Support additional client-service functions as the role develops Training will be provided on the specific systems, services, and procedures used in the role. Who We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you: Are comfortable speaking with customers by phone Communicate in a warm, professional, and confident manner Listen well and ask good follow-up questions Can learn enough about a service to explain information clearly without guessing Follow established processes consistently Pay attention to details and document information accurately Are comfortable working with numbers, quotes, and customer information Know when to use your judgment and when to ask for help Can move between phone calls and administrative work without losing track of either Are dependable and can consistently cover the scheduled hours Take feedback well and apply it Are comfortable learning new software and systems Take confidentiality seriously Previous experience in customer service, office administration, scheduling, dispatch, construction, home services, estimating, or a related role is helpful but not required. We care about your ability to learn, communicate, and follow through. What We Expect From Ourselves Cornerstone is building a team around five core values: Trust We do what we say we will do. We communicate honestly, protect what has been entrusted to us, and take responsibility when something goes wrong. Excellence We care about the details because the details affect people. We are not looking for perfection, but we do expect people to care about doing the work well. Education We seek to understand before we act. We ask questions, learn the reason behind the process, and stay willing to keep learning. Partnership We care about the outcome, not just checking a task off a list. Our clients trust us with their businesses, and we treat that responsibility with care. Ownership When something is ours, we follow it through. If it needs to be handed to someone else, we make that handoff intentionally rather than assuming someone else will take care of it. Compensation $23-$27 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills. The strongest candidates may bring experience in areas such as customer service, construction office operations, dispatching, estimating, home-service businesses, or other roles requiring independent customer communication and attention to detail. To Apply Please submit your resume along with a short introduction telling us: Why this role interests you Why the current schedule works for you What experience you have working with customers by phone Anything else you would like us to know about why you would be a good fit for Cornerstone We are looking for someone who wants to do good work, can be counted on, and is interested in growing with a small company as we continue to build.
