Job Description
Position Summary The Customer Service Representative serves as a key member of the Sales team, supporting customer satisfaction through accurate order management, invoicing, customer communication, and data administration. Reporting to the Co-CEO, Commercial who also serves as the Director of Sales, this role works closely with Account Managers and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from order entry through delivery and invoicing. The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in helping the organization deliver exceptional service, build strong customer relationships, and achieve business objectives through operational excellence and attention to detail. Qualifications Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of training and experience Two years of experience in customer service or sales career field Microsoft Office Skills Accountabilities Fulfills customer orders or upsells to increase annual sales revenue. This work includes receiving orders from various modes of communication, entering orders in the system, sourcing and procuring potato supply inventory to fulfill customer order quality and quantity specifications. Also serves as a liaison with plant managers and customers (examples: McCain/Frito Lay/Grimmway Produce Group) to ensure Wysocki operations can effectively fulfill the orders. Monitors/tracks customer orders from origination to customer receipt and creates plans for corrective action when bottlenecks are identified, which prevent quality on-time delivery. Works closely with Director of Sales when changes are needed in other operational areas. Includes monitoring product quality data, potato inventory management, estimating time of carrier arrival, verifying loads are packed and shipped within contract requirements and elevating any concerns to appropriate stakeholders with a sense of urgency. Communicates accurately and timely with all customer stakeholders in written and verbal formats, with a strong emphasis to active listening to draw questions and learn facts pertaining to customers and the Wysocki organization. Stakeholders include but are not limited to sales team, customers, potato growers, internal quality and storage and plant operations. Mitigates risk for financials by continually reviewing accounts receivable and grower-returns. Includes report generation, researching and working with accounting staff to understand customer payable procedures, and works to resolve payment delays. Prepares and distributes reports or other data needed pertaining to sales and customer accounts to meet target dates of request. Maintains acceptable organization of work records to enable coworkers to serve as back up for all work duties. Performs other duties as assigned to support departmental and company goals, adapting to business needs with flexibility and teamwork.
