This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across customer service, sales, and project management in a fast-paced environment. An STE project management professional position is a Sales/Customer Service management role that oversees projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet business goals, stay within budget, and finish on schedule. A PMP Sales/Customer Service manager leads and develops a team that effectively works with department managers and personnel across various departments such as, engineering, supply chain, finance, production, quality, and comfortable interacting with executive leadership, including the President. Responsibilities Sales department lead and assistant manager. Works with the Director of Sales to implement Quad Quartile standards based on 80/20 analytics. Oversees proper quotation input data to assist inside sales in quote preparation. Contributes with ideas for continuous improvement of quoting and sales workflow processes. Follows all safety guidelines and procedures where applicable. Sets and maintains work development goals for the team. Insures customer expectations deliverables throughout the project to completion. Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables. Build and maintain schedules using tools like Gantt charts or sprint boards. Proficient at budgets and forecast costing methodologies. Communicate with stakeholders and provide status updates. Identify and mitigate project scheduling risks. Ensure quality standards and project alignment with business strategy. Requirements
- Past project management experience.
- Past management experience preferred.
- Past customer facing roles.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred, but not required.
- PMP certification or in the process of completing coursework and exam.
- Previous exposure to PM tools, such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, ClickUp,
- Knowledge of methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall.
- Comfortable negotiating price and terms.
- Understands quote tools, and comfortable in an ERP environment.
- Willing to travel 5% to 10%.
