Job Purpose:
The Customer Support Specialist serves as a critical front-line role within Nopak's sales team. This position supports both customer service and inside sales activities, ensuring accurate order processing, responsive customer communication, and reliable support for Nopak's distributor and OEM customers. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist that thrives in a fast-paced and growing environment. This role is foundational to Nopak's growth strategy and is intended to develop into higher-level inside sales or technical sales responsibilities over time.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, quotes, and general inquiries Assist in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently within Nopak's ERP system Responding to customer requests, order status, lead times, and delivery changes by phone and email in a timely manner Support distributor relationships through professional, consistent communication Assist in the preparation of customer quotes under the guidance of the Inside Sales Representatives Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain to confirm specifications, pricing, and lead times Assist with quote follow-up and documentation as part of the sales process Identify repeat order opportunities and alert the sales team to potential growth opportunities Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met Help manage order changes, revisions, approvals, and documentation updates Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining a customer focused approach- Resolves issues by working with the customer, Inside Sales team and/or other departments
- Follow established sales and customer service processes while contributing ideas for improvement
- Maintain accurate customer and order data within ERP system
- Support training initiatives and documentation of standard work Description of other duties: Completes data entry, generates sales quotations and handles customer inquiries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional, customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, employees and management
- Strong listening and sales skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or account support in a manufacturing environment
- Self-Motivated with a proven track record in technical sales
- Experience working with distributors or OEM customers
- Comfortable with technical sales and customer service
- Familiarity with reading basic engineering drawings or specifications
- Exposure to quoting, pricing, or order management processes
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

The employee is required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift 10-20 pounds while moving product or small packages. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
