Job Description

CUSTOMER SERVICE
REPRESENTATIVEWerks Autosport | Muskego, Wisconsin You don't have to know how to rebuild an engine. But you should probably get excited when you hear one. Werks Autosport is looking for a Customer Service Representative to become one of the faces of our shop. We're an independent automotive shop built by people who genuinely love cars. Our customers bring us everything from daily-driven European vehicles to modified performance cars and exotics—and we're looking for someone who can make the experience at the front of the shop just as exceptional as the work happening in the back. This isn't a traditional service-writer position where your entire day revolves around selling repairs. It's about people, cars, communication, and creating an experience customers actually enjoy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll be one of the primary connections between our customers and technicians. That means answering phones and messages, scheduling appointments, greeting customers, preparing estimates and invoices, communicating repair updates, coordinating with technicians, ordering or tracking parts when necessary, and generally keeping the day moving smoothly. But there's another part of the job that's harder to put into a checklist: Making people feel like they're in the right place. Some customers know exactly what coilovers, turbos, offsets, and ECU tunes they want. Others just know their car is making a weird noise. You should be equally comfortable talking to both.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who's naturally good with people. Someone personable, organized, confident, and capable of communicating clearly without sounding like they're reading from a script. Automotive knowledge is extremely helpful, but you don't need to be a mechanic. We'd much rather hire someone with an excellent personality and genuine interest in cars who is eager to learn. You'll probably fit in well here if you: Actually enjoy talking to people Are organized even when ten things are happening at once Communicate clearly and professionally Can turn a frustrated customer interaction into a positive one Notice details other people miss Are comfortable using computers and learning new software Can communicate effectively between customers and technicians Take ownership instead of waiting for someone else to solve a problem Have an interest in European, performance, modified, or exotic cars Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience is a plus, but personality, communication skills, and attitude matter just as much to us.
THIS ISN'T A DEALERSHIP
Werks Autosport is a small, enthusiast-driven independent shop. That means you're not going to disappear into a massive corporate service department. You'll work directly with our technicians and customers and become an important part of how people experience Werks. We want customers to know us by name. We want them to trust us with their cars. And we want them to actually enjoy coming here. Your job plays a huge part in making that happen.
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday No Saturdays. No Sundays.
COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation based on experience and capabilities. We're willing to invest in the right person—especially someone who can grow into a larger role as the business continues to grow.
INTERESTED?
Send us your resume, but don't feel like you need to write a corporate cover letter. Tell us a little about yourself. Tell us why you'd be good with our customers. And if you're into cars, tell us what's in your garage or what you wish was. Werks Autosport
