Job Description
Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking caregivers for the 8 Bed CBRF. As a caregiver your duties may include: activities, assistance with personal hygiene, light housekeeping/laundry, transportation/shopping, medication administration, behavioral and social support. Perform all resident care as assigned and according to individualized service plan, facility policies and procedures and participate in care conferences of residents. Assist residents per individual support plan direction with; Tub bath or shower. Oral, hair and nail care, shaving, dressing and undressing, application of make-up. Elimination needs including toileting or offering verbal prompting to remind resident to use the bathroom. Answer all resident requests for assistance promptly. Give emotional and social support, and attend to the resident's physical comfort as appropriate. Administer resident oral and topical medications as ordered and per training. Takes and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressures. Assist residence with meal times, according to established protocols, maintain intake and output as requested, weigh residents as instructed. Observe and report physical and/or behavioral changes in resident immediately to the Program Specialist.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Caregiving experience is preferred but we will train the right people
