Job Description

Position Summary We're looking for an Aftermarket Customer Service Representative to be the primary point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, consumables, and service support for their Oberlin Filter equipment. You'll process orders, prepare quotes, troubleshoot basic issues over the phone, and coordinate with our sales, engineering, and shipping teams to make sure customers get what they need quickly and accurately. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer calls, emails, and orders for replacement parts, filter media, and consumables Prepare and follow up on price quotes for aftermarket parts and services Enter and track orders in the ERP/CRM system, ensuring accurate pricing, part numbers, and delivery timelines Identify correct replacement parts using equipment manuals, drawings, and serial number history Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping to meet customer delivery expectations Handle basic troubleshooting questions and escalate technical issues to service/engineering as needed Process warranty claims and returns in line with company policy Maintain accurate customer records and equipment history Support outside sales reps and distributors with order status and product information Identify opportunities to recommend additional parts, upgrades, or service contracts Qualifications High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training a plus 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a parts/aftermarket environment Strong phone and written communication skills Comfortable reading technical drawings, parts lists, or equipment manuals (or willing to learn) Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel especially) Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment Team player with a customer-first mindset Preferred Experience with industrial filtration, pumps, or fluid handling equipment Familiarity with reading mechanical/technical schematics
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
