Action Plumbing, Heating, AC and Electrical LLC is looking for a reliable and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team of service professionals.
Job Summary:
The CSR plays a vital role as the first point of contact for our customers and service technicians. This position ensures timely scheduling, effective communication, and top-notch customer service to maintain the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments. Assign the appropriate technician to each service call based on availability and job type. Coordinate technician arrival times and communicate updates to customers. Relay messages and work orders between customers, technicians, and supervisors. Provide exceptional customer service and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction. Update customer records and service history accurately in the system. Monitor and adjust daily technician schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage order details. Use map-reading skills and geographical knowledge to assist in dispatch logistics. Perform other administrative and support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional phone presence Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods Manual dexterity for working with computers and phones Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or schedule coordination Strong geographic knowledge or map-reading skills Ability to remain calm and focused in a busy office or call center environment A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving abilities Professional and courteous communication style with both customers and technicians
