Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions accurately, assist customers with product inquiries, and contribute to a friendly and welcoming store environment. Experience with craft vinyl, cricut, or silhouette machines preferred, please specify if you have such experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments. Maintain accurate cash handling procedures to ensure financial integrity. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing and product information. Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos. Communicate effectively with customers both in-person and over the phone, maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Assist in merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and organizing displays. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Provide support in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Ability to sell products effectively while understanding customer needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse customers. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math concepts is advantageous. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
