Cutting Assistant Williamsburg Furniture - Nappanee, IN Full-Time Job Summary Williamsburg Furniture is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cutting Assistant to support daily production operations. This position plays a key role in organizing job tickets, preparing materials, and ensuring production workflows run efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains strong organizational accuracy. Responsibilities Retrieve and prepare production tickets in advance of scheduled work Organize tickets by company, product type, and part number Sort and assemble tickets into grouped batches (e.g., sofas, home theater, etc.) Print and prepare markers for each job and part number Create and document jobs based on ticket specifications Assemble and organize job packets by production schedule (earliest to latest) Deliver job packets to designated workstations Prepare RGR documentation for home sewing orders and maintain tracking records Generate recuts as needed and distribute promptly to the production floor Track "No Fabric" orders and release when materials become available Update production schedules to reflect completed work (cut, laid up, or sorted) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and printing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Manufacturing or production experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor setting Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Regular standing, walking, and handling materials Benefits Competitive pay Stable, team-oriented work environment Growth opportunities within the company Benefits package available Schedule Full-time position Day shift Apply Today Join a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and efficient production at Williamsburg Furniture.
