Pay:

Starting at $65.00/hour Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) . As a CVICU RN, you will provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures, including fresh open-heart surgeries. You will be responsible for the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation—while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure remarkable patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized care for Fresh Open Heart Surgery patients. Manage and monitor advanced cardiac equipment, including Impella and Balloon Pumps (preferred). Interpret complex cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies with precision. Coordinate care for adult and geriatric populations within a Level 1 Trauma environment. Document care accurately using Epic EMR .

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

1+ years of recent CVICU or high-acuity ICU experience.

Clinical Skills:

Proficiency with fresh open-heart recovery and cardiac rhythm interpretation is required .

Education/Licensure:

Active Minnesota RN License .

Certifications:

BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) are required.

Software:

Previous experience with Epic is required.
