Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry, and contribute to delivering high-quality dental services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic, patient-focused setting. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic EMR systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate medical documentation Perform chairside assisting with aseptic technique and infection control protocols to promote a safe clinical environment Record vital signs and medical history information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Support the dental team with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment as a DA or RDA, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures Proficiency with dental software including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic EMR systems, and 3D scanner technology Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while adhering to radiation safety standards Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical coding for accurate recordkeeping Skilled in chairside assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and handling dental instruments efficiently Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and the ability to support complex treatments like prosthodontics or endodontics Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding dental care!
