Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health through a combination of clinical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and adherence to best practices in dentistry. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation standards. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety during procedures. Manage patient records accurately using dental office software like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical records confidentiality. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness. Collaborate with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to optimize treatment efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and current best practices in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry to provide high-quality care. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in good standing. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with dental office software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix or Epic is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Demonstrated ability to perform diverse procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages. Commitment to patient care excellence with a focus on detailed documentation and adherence to HIPAA standards.
