Daycare Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

Supervision

• Ensuring the safety of children at all times, including during activities and play time. Care
• Helping children with hygiene, eating, using the toilet, and changing diapers. Activities
• Assisting with setting up and participating in activities such as arts and crafts, games, and music. Meals
• Preparing meals and snacks for children as well as helping with clean up. Communication
• Interacting with parents and providing updates on children's day to day activities. First Aid
• Providing basic first aid and performing CPR when needed. Record Keeping
• Keeping records of children's progress. Environment
• Maintaining a clean and organized daycare space. Behavior
• Helping teach appropriate behavior and social skills. Rules
• Assisting in enforcing classroom rules.

Prospects should be good team players, able to work well with children, parents, teachers, and other staff members.

Minimum requirements:

Background check, able to life 50 pounds, and 2 years childcare experience. Must be 18 or older per state requirements.

Nice to have:

current CPR certification including pediatric, CDA or degree in Early Childhood Physical and TB test required if offered position Compensation based on experience
