Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth. Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times. Facilitate classroom management by organizing activities that encourage participation, cooperation, and positive behavior management. Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in line with childcare regulations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols such as first aid procedures and emergency response plans. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required. Assistance will be given to obtain certificate. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and behavior management effectively. Experience working with diverse groups of children including those requiring special attention or accommodations is advantageous.
