The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and Holy Name High School are pleased to accept applications for the position of Annual Fund Manager. Founded in 1914, Holy Name High School is a diocesan-sponsored, co-educational, comprehensive high school with a college preparatory emphasis and is committed to leading young adults to Christ by educating them in mind, body, and spirit. With a population of more than 650 students in grades nine through twelve, Holy Name High School provides young men and women with a nurturing and supportive educational environment in which to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and morally. The Dean of Academics serves as a key member of the school's leadership team, responsible for promoting academic excellence, integrity, and accountability across all programs. This role oversees the school's testing program, monitors student eligibility for athletics and extracurricular activities, ensures adherence to academic integrity standards, and assists in faculty evaluation and program review processes. The Dean of Academics works collaboratively with administration, faculty, students, and families to support a rigorous, mission-driven academic environment.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Academic Oversight & Student Accountability Monitor and enforce academic eligibility for participation in athletics and extracurricular activities in accordance with school and governing body policies. Partner with counselors, teachers, and administration to identify and support students experiencing academic difficulty. Oversee grade reporting processes and ensure consistency and accuracy in academic records. Testing & Assessment Program Coordinate and manage all standardized and internal testing programs (e.g., placement tests, IOWA/PSAT/SAT/ACT, AP/CCP exams, Midterm and final exams). Ensure compliance with testing protocols, security procedures, and accommodations. Analyze testing data to inform instructional improvement and student support strategies. Communicate testing schedules, expectations, and results to students, families, and faculty. Academic Integrity Develop, communicate, and enforce policies related to academic honesty and integrity. Investigate and respond to violations of academic integrity in a fair, consistent, and educational manner. Promote a culture of honesty, accountability, and ethical scholarship aligned with the school's mission. Faculty Evaluation & Support Support the faculty evaluation process, including classroom observations, feedback, and professional growth plans. Work with department chairs and administration to ensure alignment with instructional standards and best practices. Assist in mentoring new faculty and supporting ongoing professional development initiatives. Program Evaluation & Improvement Lead regular review cycles of academic programs and departments to ensure rigor, relevance, and alignment with school goals. Use data (assessment results, enrollment trends, student outcomes) to recommend program improvements. Collaborate with leadership on curriculum development and innovation. Collaboration & Leadership Serve as a member of the administrative team, contributing to strategic planning and policy development. Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other members of the faculty regarding student eligibility and participation. Communicate effectively with faculty, students, and families regarding academic policies and expectations. Support and uphold the mission and values of Holy Name High School.QUALIFICATIONS
Commitment to the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church and to best practices in Catholic education. Familiarity with the teachings, traditions, and policies, which apply to formation and development of high school-aged youth. The position requires VIRTUS certification and FBI/BCI background check. Master's degree in Administration or Education or a related field; Ohio Department of Education (ODE)License:
High School Principal, High School (7-12) Teaching License, or related field Minimum of 5 years of teaching or administrative experience with a focus on academic programming and student support Strong understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with teachers, students, and families; Experience collaborating with guidance counselors or support staff to address academic challenges; Experience with student data systems and academic tracking; Highly motivated and able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously; Self-starter; able to work independently.KEY COMPETENCIES
