Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary Dean of Students to lead our student affairs and foster a vibrant, inclusive campus community. In this pivotal role, you will oversee student life programs, support academic success, and promote a positive environment that encourages leadership, engagement, and personal growth. Your strategic leadership will ensure the development of a dynamic student experience aligned with the institution's mission and values. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our students by providing guidance, mentorship, and innovative programming. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate student services, ensuring a welcoming and supportive campus atmosphere that promotes student well-being and success. Develop and implement curriculum initiatives that enhance student engagement and leadership development. Oversee student discipline processes, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies while fostering a respectful community. Collaborate with faculty and staff to design programs that support academic achievement, mental health, diversity, and inclusion. Manage budgets related to student activities, programs, and services to maximize resource efficiency. Lead strategic planning efforts to improve student retention, satisfaction, and overall campus climate. Supervise a team of student affairs professionals, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth through management and supervising experience. Engage in fundraising activities to support student programs and campus initiatives. Represent the institution at public speaking engagements, community events, and conferences to promote student success initiatives. Experience Proven senior leadership experience within education administration or higher education settings. Demonstrated management skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively. Extensive background in working with students across diverse backgrounds in classroom or campus settings. Strong background in curriculum development, strategic planning, budgeting, and fundraising efforts. Experience in teaching or classroom instruction is highly desirable. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Prior experience in developing policies related to student conduct, wellness programs, or academic support is preferred.
