Deli Associate

Job Overview We're on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Deli Associate to join our Deli Pro team. In this role, you'll be the face of our deli, helping customers select delicious products, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. Pay based on previous retail or food industry experience. Responsibilities Assist customers with their selections, providing friendly and knowledgeable service. Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and other ready-to-eat foods following safety and quality standards. Operate Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling and equipment cleaning. Restock shelves and display cases to ensure products are fresh and well-presented. Support cash handling procedures with accuracy during sales transactions. Preparing Salads, meat and cheese trays, caterings for groups of all sizes. Operation of a commercial slicer for made to order, fresh sliced deli meats and cheeses. Must be 18 years or older. Skills Experience in food preparation and food handling. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively in a quick service environment. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Kitchen or café experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is key.
