Delivery and Installation

Job Summary Quality Appliance of Faribault is looking for a delivery and installation crew member. Working side-by-side with other team members on installs, you would be responsible for delivering and/or installing household goods to our customers. We can assure that every day on the job would be unique and different, due to the variety of appliances getting delivered, and people you meet along the way. Delivery and installation is very important to our business and our customers. You leave the last impression the customer has, from when they first walked into our door to pick out an appliance, to when you leave the home after delivering it. Many of our customers love it when they get to see a familiar face back in their home again for installation when they return for new appliances. This position is right for the person who enjoys being active in their workplace, enjoys a bit of banter, is mechanically inclined, and can be adaptable to different environments.

Responsibilities:

Deliver/install a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes Follow route and be timely to scheduled appointments Load, unload, prepare, inspect and install appliances. Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 75 lbs. Demonstrate willingness to learn and problem solve

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to drive box truck (or willingness to learn) Mechanical background or inclination. •Required• Excellent organizational skills Must be able to work independently Must have excellent time management skills Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
