Delivery Driver GTG Logistics

GTG Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every order to the customer's door on-time. We offer full and part-time opportunities. Approximate hours are 10:45 am to 9:00 pm. Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. Typical schedule is 3-4 days for full time, typically 30-40 hours per week with a minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break. We need reliable , independent , flexible , hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses Paid Training Paid Overtime and Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance and Benefits for Full Time Employees Maternity and Parental Leave Delivery Driver Basic Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Eligible to work in the U.S Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Must have a valid driver's license Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening(which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana) No accidents or moving violation tickets for past 7 years Must be able to work either Sunday or Saturday every week Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information. Successfully handle and deliver packages on time Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
