Delivery Driver/ Salesperson 4535 Mason Dixon Hwy, Maidsville, WV 26541 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time About the Company Reliable Tire Company is a commercial tire dealer based in Core, West Virginia, serving the trucking, construction, mining, agricultural, and government fleet industries across north-central West Virginia, southwest Pennsylvania, and the surrounding tri-state region. We provide new and retread tire sales, on-site delivery and mounting, roadside service, and tire management solutions for commercial and industrial customers. Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Delivery Driver / Salesperson to join our team. This position is responsible for executing daily delivery routes, building and maintaining customer relationships, and growing sales within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the commercial tire industry and is comfortable working independently in the field. Key Responsibilities Load delivery truck each morning according to the daily route schedule, verifying correct product, quantities, and delivery sequence Execute daily delivery routes across north-central West Virginia and surrounding areas, including Morgantown, Fairmont, Clarksburg, and parts of southwest Pennsylvania Deliver and mount commercial tires on-site at customer locations using portable mounting equipment Pick up casings, scrap tires, and retread returns at each stop and sort them properly upon return to the shop Obtain signed invoices from customers at the time of delivery Build and maintain strong working relationships with fleet managers, shop foremen, and purchasing contacts at each customer location Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while on route, including opportunistic tire sales off the truck Make mid-day phone calls to inventory customers on the following day's route to determine restocking and service needs Communicate order needs, customer issues, and route updates to the Sales Manager throughout the day Prepare accurate handwritten invoices in the field and submit all paperwork to the office at the end of each day Assist with in-shop tire service, receiving, and general shop duties when not on a delivery route Represent Reliable Tire Company professionally at all times and maintain a clean, safe work vehicle Qualifications Required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required Previous experience in the commercial tire industry, including tire mounting, balancing, and repair Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude Willingness to travel daily across the service territory Preferred Experience with commercial fleet accounts and relationship-based selling Familiarity with retread tire programs and casing management Knowledge of tire sizing, load ratings, and application matching for trucks, heavy equipment, and agricultural machinery Basic familiarity with invoicing, delivery documentation, and inventory procedures What We Offer Hourly pay plus commission based on experience and sales performance Full-time position with consistent hours 9 paid holidays per year 2 weeks paid vacation for full-time employees after completion of a 90-day probationary period; 1 week for part-time employees 3 paid personal days per year Bereavement leave Workers' compensation coverage A hands-on role with a respected, locally owned commercial tire company Opportunity to grow into expanded sales and account management responsibilities How to Apply Interested candidates should apply in person at our shop located at 4535 Mason Dixon Highway, Core, WV 26541, or contact us by phone at 304-376-9335 or by email at tireman@westco.net.
