Competitive Salary of $24.56-$28.88 hourly (pay range increases for RDA licensure)Who you are:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant for a Full Time role working in a clinical setting. As a member of the health care team, the DA provides support to the Dentist and Dental Hygienist.

The DA will:

Perform all duties consistent with an RDA position as listed under the California ADA scope of practice under the general guidance of the Dentist Performs chairside assistant procedures such as handling instruments, mixing materials, charting and comforting patientsUpdate patient chart for each visitKnowledgeable in dentistry field; i.e., tooth location and number, dental terminology, dental instruments and their functionsKnowledgeable with x-rays, machinery and radiation safetyKnowledgeable with taking impressions, dental plastersSupport receptionists as needed including coordinating patients schedulesMaintain good working relations among all staff through appropriate communications.

Work with organization in development and provision of preventative oral hygiene education for staff and patientsProvides training and guidance for staff as needed What you need:

Possession of a current Registered Dental Assistant license or Dental Assistant certification1 year of clinical experience preferredCurrent BLS/ALS certificate preferredMust pass Occupational Health Screening.

Must possess a valid form of identification as listed on the U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form, verified using the E Verify system.

Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier). The position requires an awareness and keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contacts with Indian health organizations which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.
