Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your skills will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this energetic role, you will assist with chairside procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures Assist dentist during various treatments including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric procedures with precision and efficiency Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards such as Aseptic technique and HIPAA regulations Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, accurately documenting medical history, treatment details, and dental coding Provide chairside assistance by managing dental terminology, vital signs, medical imaging, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient comfort Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care while demonstrating excellent communication skills Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control guidelines to ensure safety for patients and staff Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Proficiency with dental practice management systems. Ability to operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and medical imaging tools confidently Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation Certification in dental assisting or related training. Pay:
