Job Description

Dental Assistant Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM Definition of Position We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant. In this role, you will support the dentist during patient procedures, help create a positive patient experience, and ensure smooth daily clinical operations. The ideal candidate is organized, team-focused, and passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dental environment. Essential Job Functions
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
  • Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and dental treatments
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state regulations
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control standards
  • Obtain and update patient medical histories and documentation accurately
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and preventative dental practices
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow as needed
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and notify leadership of replenishment needs
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout each visit
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols at all times
  • Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations Qualifications
  • Current Dental Assistant certification/license as required by state regulations
  • X-ray certification preferred or required based on state guidelines
  • BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with dental software and electronic charting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care excellence
