Dental Assistant

Work Class Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Assistant to join our elite team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our clinical operations, ensuring every patient receives a "5-star experience" from the moment they arrive. You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to provide world-class chairside support while maintaining a meticulously organized and sterile environment. We are a state of the art private practice (not corporate) that provides patients with the best type of care available. We are looking for an experienced dental assistant that wants to change lives and make a difference. We have a nice team that works together for the best outcome. We do a variety of procedures that include surgery, orthodontics, holistic dentistry, and cosmetic reconstructive dentistry. We have been taking care of patient in the Sarasota area for 39 years. We are a family owned and operated practice with a great reputation in our community.

Chairside Assistance:

Provide expert four-handed dentistry support during procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, orthodontics and cosmetic treatments.

Patient Care:

Greet patients with a smile, prepare them for exams, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.

Clinical Prep & Sterilization:

Sterilize instruments according to OSHA guidelines and set up treatment rooms with the necessary equipment and materials for each procedure.

Radiography & Scans:

Perform high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral scans (e.g., iTero or CEREC) as directed by the dentist.

Patient Education:

Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide clear post-operative care instructions.

Administrative Support:

Assist with charting, updating electronic medical records, and scheduling follow-up appointments to maintain a smooth patient flow.

Lab & Inventory:

Handle laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and managing lab cases, while also monitoring and ordering clinical supplies. Monday - Thursday 8 hours daily Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
