Job Description

Become a valued Dental Assistant at Hawkins Dentistry Are you passionate about helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles? Join the caring and dedicated team at Hawkins Dentistry in White Salmon, Washington. The practice is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to contribute to the mission of providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and supportive environment.
Responsibilities :
Greeting and preparing patients for treatment. Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Taking diagnostic quality X-rays. Sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Managing patient records and scheduling appointments using Dentrix. Supporting the team with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues. A detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks, even in a fast-paced environment. Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with the perfect blend of personality and potential. A current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration is required. Proficiency in dental software (experience with Dentrix is a plus!)
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay, ranging from $21-28 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
