Job Description
Hawkins Dentistry in White Salmon, Washington is seeking a detail-oriented enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join its team. The practice is committed to providing exceptional dental care in a positive, supportive, and patient-centered environment. As Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the friendly face and voice of the practice, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for patients, from their first call to their follow-up care. You will guide patients through their dental journey and help them achieve optimal oral health. Key responsibilities Greet and check patients in/out with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor. Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently and accurately. Present and explain treatment plans, including financial arrangements and insurance benefits. Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain patient records with precision and ensure patient confidentiality and data protection. Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up with patients on their treatment progress. Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing forms, managing faxes and scans, and keeping the reception area organized. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Tech-savvy with basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly A compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental or medical office setting. Experience working with Dentrix . Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus. Those with no dental experience, but the right fit, are encouraged to apply.Benefits:
