Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the comfort of patients, and maintain an organized and sterile environment. Your expertise in dental terminology and familiarity with computer will be essential in supporting our practice's operations. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Educate patients on post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology is essential. Proficiency in using dental software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
