Starting:
$18.5/hr for Trainee (large potential growth); Start rate much higher for Experienced/Registered Candidate. We value our assistants! Our senior assistants have highly competitive pay. Full-time schedule (4 to 5 days/week)
Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Friday:

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. CDA license (preferred but not required)
Job Description:
Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists. Position works directly with and under the supervision of the Dentists in providing general and surgical dental services.
Primary duties:
Knowledge of dental terminology, dental materials and instruments; efficient in room set-up for restorative, oral/implant surgery, and endodontic procedures. Preparing patients for dental health services and instructing them in appropriate post dental treatment, diet, and oral hygiene. Promptly following all instructions from the Dentist dealing with patient comfort. Taking inventory and stocking all supplies. Knowledge and proficiency of digital x-rays. Proficiency with using fourhanded assisting technique. Maintaining dental equipment and operatories in good, clean condition at all times. Maintain the instruments and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols per OSHA guidelines. Cross-training in other dental support positions as necessary, i.e., reception, dental lab technician, etc. Other duties as assigned by the Dentist or manager. Maintain personal protection per OSHA guidelines as it pertains to personal safety, i.e., scrubs, eyewear, gloves. To participate in training and staff meetings
