Evening janitor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Evening Janitor to join our cleaning team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities during evening hours. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and professional workspace while working flexible evening shifts. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Sweep, mop and vacuum floors Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas Conduct routine inspections to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues that require attention Use custodial equipment for tasks such as floor care, industrial cleaning, or specialized cleaning projects Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks during shift hours Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours Reliable with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently during evening shifts Join us as an Evening Janitor and be part of a team committed to creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
