Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care across general dentistry. This role involves working closely with dentists and patients to facilitate efficient procedures while maintaining a comfortable environment. The position requires proficiency in patient care, dental terminology and documentation. A strong understanding of anatomy, infection control protocols and techniques is essential to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take accurate dental images, to include scanner and cone beam imaging. Manage patient records accurately within dental software program while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge, infection control, and dental coding. Skills Proficiency in paperless dental software programs. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely and effectively while maintaining radiation safety standards. Familiarity with infection control protocols in a clinical setting. Skilled in dental imaging technology. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
