DENTAL ASSISTANT needed DA2

Responsibilities:

• Tues, Wed, Thursday 7:30-5pm
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix
• Perform dental charting and update medical records
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
• Schedule appointments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• 2+ years experience
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficiency in Dentrix dental software systems
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
