Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient service. Excellent customer service is a must Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software
OPENDENTAL
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, and PPO plans, ensuring accurate billing and codiing Perform insurance verification and authorization procedures, ensuring proper documentation review for claims processing Maintain accurate dental records and manage filing of patient documents in compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, scheduling appointments and addressing patient inquiries efficiently Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (10 key typing), and managing medical records with Microsoft Office tools scanning of dental charts Skills Proven experience in dental office or medical administrative support with strong clerical skills Knowledge of dental terminology Familiarity with Open Dental Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and office management software Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and handle billing processes efficiently Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred to ensure seamless integration into our team Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to safeguard patient information at all times Join us in a great family practice with great staff and patients!
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
