Dental Hygienist

Our office is privately owned and has been serving the Naperville area for over 40 years. Some team members have been here over 25 years and we consider each other family. We are a progressive practice focusing on a positive and comfortable patient experience every time. One of our long term hygienists is retiring and we are looking for a dental hygienist to become part of our team. Strong communication skills and exceptional chairside manner are a must. Flexible hours and schedule ( looking to fill Wednesdays and Thursdays with Tuesdays also to add later) with no late nights or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including general prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, Arestin placement, sealants and coronal polishing, periodontal probing
• Take dental x-rays(Dexis), process and package instruments for sterilization
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in dental records
• Maintain and update patient charts

Experience:

• Experience preferred but not necessary
• Proficient in dental office procedures and protocols
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, periodontal disease and oral pathology
• Familiarity with dental coding and documentation in Dentrix or similar systems
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
