Dental Hygienist

Job Overview The Cincinnati Dental Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic, private group practice with locations in Mason and Montgomery. We are looking for an enthusiastic and team oriented registered dental hygienist with the option of full or part-time work. Days available will include Mondays through Fridays (hours vary by office location). We are a growing, established, privately owned family practice with a history of long term staff and four generations of family dentistry. This is a long term staff position with opportunities for profit sharing and a retirement matching program. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring optimal oral health for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Perform periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in patient records. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices, including medical terminology and coding relevant to pediatric dentistry. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and documentation review. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or pediatric dentistry. Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and medical imaging techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for effective documentation review. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
