Dental Hygienist

Job Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our new dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and ensure the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health. Take and record vital signs, medical history, and assess patient health status. Perform medical imaging radiographs, cavity detection, perio charting, and application of topical agents. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Open Dental. Follow infection control protocols utilizing aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a general dental practice. Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, radiograph interpretation are important. Understanding time management and keeping on track to being on schedule. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a hygienist to work part time at a new start up dental office.
