Mercer County State Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Supervisor at our Technology Center in Sandy Lake. This position will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Customer Care Staff in order to efficiently process deposit accounts and to retain and utilize information relating to these accounts: supervising the Electronic Banking function; ensuring the department's compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; assists the Chief Operating Officer with his/her staff supervision focusing on clerical duties (example tracking time off, accruals etc.); offers input for performance reviews and refers all disciplinary, training and hiring decisions to supervisor; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports. Essential Duties Performs a variety of duties to support the deposit operations function as illustrated by the following: Supervises the Customer Care Staff to efficiently process deposit accounts. Responsible for job duties being completed on time. Assists with the supervision of the Image Department to efficiently process all incoming and outgoing image files. Responsible for job duties being completed on time. Processes and oversees all types of bank Deposit accounts, e.g., DDA, Savings, COD, IRAs, etc.; verifies information and makes certain that accounts are properly established to ensure accurate record keeping. Responsible for Fed adjustments, Non-post, ACH returns, NSFs and NOCs, and ACH payroll(s) origination within the required timeframes. Researches deposit account information and inquiries from customer service personnel and other bank departments; answers customer general inquiries. Assist and/or review balancing of the Federal Reserve Bank statement bi-monthly. Assist and/or review deposit account resolutions and other related documents.
