Job Description Our Client, a leading entertainment company, is seeking an Assistant Illustration Manager to provide support to the Publishing and Global Art Development department. You will create and oversee the creation of layouts, clean-up and painted illustrations for various film tie-in programs as well as franchise extension stories. Schedule Approximately 9:00am-5:00pm M-F onsite in Emeryville, CA Contracted Assignment from November 2026 through July 2027 Pay rate $43.33/hourResponsibilities:
Assist with the creation of layouts, clean-up and paint illustrations for various books for franchise extensions. Collaborate with staff artists as well as staff editors and designers to ensure all aspects of title development are in sync. Assist with reference collection for freelance artists. Assist with management and art direction of freelance artists and revise commissioned work as needed to meet asset delivery requirements.Required Qualifications:
Significant expertise in digital illustration, particularly in Photoshop. Must have the ability to create illustrations in various styles. Must possess strong drafting skills. Must possess excellent time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple project timelines. Bachelor's Degree in Illustration, Fine Art or other creative discipline.
