Role Summary We're looking for a highly creative Digital Artist with strong traditional art foundations and advanced digital skills to join our growing design team. This role focuses on creating original artwork and developing visually compelling concepts across multiple product categories, styles, and customer profiles. The ideal candidate combines artistic instinct with digital fluency and understands how to translate texture, composition, color, and storytelling into elevated, production-ready artwork. This is not a production-only role — we're looking for artists who can concept, innovate, and contribute creatively to future collections and product development. This role works closely with Creative Leadership and the Design Team to support seasonal launches, new product development, and evolving creative direction across the brand.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital Artist plays a key role in developing original artwork and creative concepts across multiple product categories and design styles. This role requires a strong understanding of composition, color, texture, trend direction, and artistic storytelling. The ideal candidate combines traditional artistic skill with digital fluency and is capable of creating elevated, production-ready artwork that aligns with Leftbank Art's creative direction and brand standards. This is not a production-only role — we are looking for artists who can concept, innovate, and contribute creatively to product development and future collections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create original artwork and digital compositions across a variety of styles, categories, and customer needs
• Translate traditional hand-painted techniques into elevated digital artwork while maintaining depth, texture, and artistic authenticity
• Develop concepts and artwork for wall art, dimensional products, mixed media, wallcoverings, hospitality, and commercial applications
• Collaborate closely with Creative Leadership and Design Team members on seasonal launches, trend direction, and collection development
• Contribute creative ideas, visual research, and trend inspiration during development cycles
• Apply strong understanding of color, composition, layering, and texture to create visually compelling artwork
• Prepare production-ready files with proper formatting, resolution, and color accuracy
• Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining creative integrity and project timelines
• Stay current on design, interior, lifestyle, color, and material trends within the home décor industry
• Support a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment with a positive and solutions-oriented attitude

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong portfolio showcasing both traditional artwork and digital art capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong traditional art background including acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, mixed media, or similar mediums
• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, texture, and visual balance
• Ability to create artwork across multiple aesthetics and customer profiles
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Experience in wall décor, surface design, home furnishings, hospitality, or related creative industries preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, or related field preferred
