Job Description
Are you looking for a fun part-time job in a creative environment? Painting with a Twist Downtown might be the perfect fit for you! Must be 18+ to apply. Pay will be $16.50 per hours and raise to $17+ after initial training and responsibility assignments (at about 6-10 week). We also have several awesome bonus opportunities. All Employees get one free class a month to use themselves or gift to a friend. Advancement to Weekend Manager or Assistant Studio Manager is an opportunity for the right candidate. Schedule is non-traditional & will fluctuate a bit week to week (as it reflects our class schedule & bookings) We're looking to hire someone for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday with the occasional Friday or weekend shift. Shift start & finish time will fluctuate depending on what we have scheduled that day/evening. The earliest a shift might start is 9:am but on average will be 10:30am, not to exceed 8 hours per shift. Our ideal candidate(s) is energetic, outgoing, extremely well organized, doesn't mind getting dirty, (you will get paint on you) enjoys' talking with people and must be reliable. (No artistic experience necessary for this position, but a love of art & creativity is a must!) Duties include but are not limited to: One day of deep cleaning the studio (Tuesday. Training will be provided) Opening and setting up the studio for the day (Wed & Thur), answering phone calls, greeting and talking with customers, taking reservations, booking Private Parties, class & splatter room set up & clean ups, stocking inventory, organizing, money handling (including cash draw reconciliation), a good amount of cleaning & some social media•. Reliability and time management are very important elements of the everyday operations. •Social Media is an important platform for the business to share what we have going on and to reach existing & potential customers. Experience with advertising/ marketing & the basics of "how" with social media is a BIG plus, but not required, being open to learn is a must.
