Full Job Description Compensation:

  • Thurs) 1+ years of dental office experience preferred.
We want an organized Dental Assistant that can manage back office and help in front office as needed . You MUST be a team player, responsible, great with people, and have good communication skills. Most importantly, you must truly enjoy serving the patients and have a natural enthusiasm for the field of dentistry. You must be familiar with taking alginate impressions and digital x-rays, extractions,restorative, crown/bridge procedures, making provisionals, most aspects of cosmetic dentistry, and be motivated to continue learning. Familiarity with softdent will be plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Take Digital x-rays
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Assist with dental coding and billing processes
  • Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using dental software and electronic health record systems
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
