Job Summary:
Drake University is looking for a teaching artist of Violin/Viola for the Spring 2027 semester. The candidate must have demonstrated commitment to and record of successful teaching at the University level and be an active performer with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth. The instructor will teach undergraduate studio violin and viola, lead studio classes, and coach chamber music. MUS 173
  • Applied Violin including 1, 50 min. studio class each week MUS 182
  • Applied Viola including 1, 50 min. studio class each week MUS 181
  • 2 sections of Chamber Ensemble with 2.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree required.
