THE WORK

We're looking for teaching artists as we build out our calendar of workshops — Some are One- or Two-day Some will be a series -- Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — focused on technique.

You bring:

the curriculum, the instruction, and a supply list.

We bring:

the space, registration, marketing, and students.

COMPENSATION

Instructor pay is $30/hour

DISCIPLINES

We are currently looking for the following — and any other techniques you'd like to propose. If you teach and love it, propose it. 1. Copper plate printing 2. Egg tempera 3. Silverpoint drawing 4. Figure sculpture from the live model — oil clay, no kiln 10. Shibori indigo dyeing 11. Visible mending + sashiko 12. Kintsugi 13. Encaustic 14. Illuminated letters — broad pen plus gilding 15. Ikebana 16. Watercolor — beginner, intermediate, advanced 17. Acrylic — beginner, intermediate, advanced 18. Figure drawing with live model — beginner, intermediate, advanced 19. Hand embroidery hoop 20. Needle felting 21. Punch needle basics 22. Macramé 23. Mosaic — beginner, intermediate, advanced 24. Alcohol ink 25. Water marbling 26. Wire-wrapped jewelry basics 27. Holiday ornaments

Working artists who teach, at every stage and every path. We have three rotating galleries, a shop with work from more than 60 local artists, a workshop program, and a printmaking facility we're building into a working print hub for the North Side.
