Full-Time Position Summary Cliff Keen Athletic is seeking a versatile Artist to fill what is essentially two roles in one, shifting focus with our seasonal cycle. During peak ordering season, the role is production-driven: fast, accurate art prep and file output to keep orders moving. During slower periods, the focus shifts to creative and design work — original graphics for teams, dealers, VIP clubs, and camps, plus support for internal photography and product shoots. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable executing precise production files under deadline pressure and developing bold, on-brand creative concepts when the pace allows. Key Responsibilities During Ordering Season (Production Focus) Produce print-ready production art (separations, vector cleanup, mockups) for apparel and gear orders Collaborate closely with Production to ensure art files meet manufacturing specs and deadlines Partner with Customer Service to resolve art-related order questions and revisions Prioritize speed and accuracy to keep high order volume moving on schedule During Slower Periods (Creative Focus) Design original creative graphics for team programs, dealer accounts, VIP clubs, and camps Support internal photography and product photo shoots (setup, styling, basic retouching) Work with Marketing to develop assets for campaigns, catalogs, web, and social Explore new concepts, layouts, and formats — including 3D — to keep the brand's creative fresh Year-Round Maintain brand consistency across all custom and creative artwork Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities across both production and creative modes Use AI tools to speed up workflow — mockups, concepting, production shortcuts, and asset variations Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required Strong portfolio demonstrating both production art and creative design work Experience with apparel/screen-print/DTF art preparation a plus Experience with 3D layout/design work a plus Comfortable integrating AI tools into a creative/production workflow Basic photography/photo shoot support experience preferred Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand/style guidelines Strong communication skills; comfortable working across Production, Customer Service, and Marketing teams Ability to shift gears between high-volume production work and open-ended creative work Sport-minded candidate with a strong athletic design aesthetic About Cliff Keen Cliff Keen Athletic is a leading name in wrestling gear and apparel, working with teams, schools, and dealers nationwide.
